Connection lab organizuje workshop v kolaboraci s Clem Lafon – Warmth & Joy
We are excited to invite you to another Honest Communication event in collaboration with Clem Lafon from Warmth & Joy. This time for a full day!
For this second edition, we’ll focus on letting the masks fall. Some of us want to appear strong and thus would hide any emotions or actions we’d see as “weak”. Others may say “yes” or comply to be seen as a good person. Or some may simply hide any shameful things they’ve said or done in fear of being rejected/not liked anymore. Just insert here your favorite pretending pattern.
There’s nothing wrong with all of that, of course. Actually, some masks are quite comfortable to wear, and others are quite pretty. Why would we ever want to reveal the ugly truth then? Let’s be clear, it can really be uncomfortable and sometimes painful to remove the mask. This work is not for the faint of the heart. And yet, sometimes, these masks are more of a burden than a help. We may prevent ourselves from doing, saying, feeling certain things by fear of losing the mask. By letting go of masks, we can gain freedom, peace of mind, aliveness, joy, and lots of fun (putting out there our little and big ugly truths and laughing about it is priceless!). The other thing is, by publicly owning our dirty secrets, all the energy we were using to maintain our self image can be refocused on the present moment, and the people around us. And that becomes a very connecting practice: if the mascarade is gone and we do not need to pretend anymore, we can be more authentic with others, and we also get to see other people’s true colors.
Wanna experience that? Just join us
